How can you become a member?
As a member of the GFWC Dade City you will have opportunity to network
and make new friends. You will develop leadership and organizational skills
and feel rewarded and fulfilled for the things that you are accomplishing.
To join the GFWC Dade City Woman's Club, contact us and we will mail
you a membership application. Fill out a membership application and pay
the annual membership dues of seventy-five dollars. Upon joining, members receive a yearbook and they will start receiving our
wonderful newsletter, the "Club Chronicles". New members will
also be invited to a new member orientation to find out more about the
club and the federation of woman's clubs and have the opportunity to make wonderful new friends!
You will find plenty to interest you at the Dade City Woman's Club.
Ways and Means organizes the fundraisers of the club like our annual fundraiser/auction - OPEN SEASON 2008! Coming September 13, 2008. We also are proud of our cookbook, "Something to Crow About" and prints of four historic Dade City buildings.
Membership shares information about our club
to recruit new members and concentrates
on keeping our members happy and involved.
Building
handles the maintenance and rentals of the Dade City Woman's Club
building and its restoration. The building in on the register of historic places.
Community donates shoes to needy children with our "Shoes for Children" program. We have provided hundreds of new shoes to local elementary school students. We are also involved in "Healthy Families Pasco" to help new mothers and their children, helps our Troops by sending care packages regularly.
