Committees and Departments
You will find plenty to interest you at the Dade City Woman's Club. We
have two committees and two departments.
Committees include:
Ways and Means, organizes the fundraisers of the club like
our annual fundraiser/auction. Our 10th annual auction is this year. Masquerade Ball - Night Behind the Mask! An evening of costumes, cocktails and celebrations will be Friday, October 29, 2009. Our annual Tour of Kitchens is in May and we sell our cookbook, Something to Crow About and prints of four historic Dade City buildings all year long;
Membership , shares information about our club
to recruit new members and concentrates
on keeping our members happy and involved.
The departments include Building and Community.
The Building Department
handles the maintenance and rentals of the Dade City Woman's Club
building and its restoration.
The Community Department donates shoes to needy children with our "Shoes for Children" program. We have provided hundreds of new shoes to local elementary school students. We are also involved in "Healthy Families Pasco", Cox Cares and Guardian ad Litem
The GFWC Dade City Woman's Club is committed to helping Dade City and its surrounding communities.
